How to Align Your CaddyLite EZ V8 Front Wheel

Maintaining a straight path on the fairway is essential for an effortless round of golf. If you’ve been using your CaddyLite EZ V8 for a few seasons, if you notice it starts "veering" or pulling slightly to the left or right.

Don't worry—this isn't a mechanical failure. Like a car, a high-performance golf trolley occasionally needs a quick alignment tweak to account for terrain wear and tear.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to perfectly calibrate your front wheel in under five minutes using just the Allen wrench provided with your cart.

Why Does My Golf Trolley Veer?

Even the most durable trolleys, like the CaddyLite EZ V8, can experience alignment shifts over time. This is often caused by:

  • Frequent use on uneven, hilly UK or European courses.

  • Distributing weight unevenly in your golf bag.

  • General vibration from rough terrain.

Step-by-Step Guide: Aligning the CaddyLite EZ V8 Front Wheel

Before you begin, find a flat surface (like your garage floor or a paved path) so you can accurately test the wheel's position.

Step 1: Loosen the Side Screws

First, face the front wheel of the cart. Locate the two side screws on the front wheel housing. Using your Allen wrench, loosen these screws (as shown in Fig. 27). You don’t need to remove them entirely—just loosen them enough to allow for adjustment.

Step 2: Adjust Based on the Pull

Depending on which way your cart is drifting, follow the specific adjustment below:

  • If the cart veers to the RIGHT: Turn the front bolt clockwise (towards the right). Watch the wheel carefully until it sits perfectly centered (see Fig. 28).

  • If the cart veers to the LEFT: Turn the front bolt counterclockwise (towards the left). Adjust until the wheel is straight and centered.

Step 3: Secure and Test

Once the wheel is visually centered, use your Allen wrench to tighten the two side screws firmly (as shown in Fig. 29). Give the cart a quick push on a flat surface to ensure it tracks straight.
